Originally I started of as a home-based business in Mt Albert, Auckland but in 2010 I purchased an existing business call Aromatics & More. I originally never set out with the intention of making soap. I had become sick and tired of having dry irritated skin even though I had tried different moisturizers. I set out to make a lotion, purchased a book with some recipes to do so, and came across an all olive oil soap and so thought I would give it a try. I was so impressed with the whole process that I started to research soap making. Also at this time I was dealing with health problems and I found that I could manage soap making and it was a great outlet. I was able to be creative and actually have a practical use for the product that I had made. So 15 years later I have never looked back and cannot imagine life without soap making in it.
In the last three years I have started to experiment with liquid soap and gel making also, which is a whole new level in soap making but very rewarding. I have also been learning to make my own silicone molds.
